For the first time ever, Seattle now has an eating tour conducted on wheels, exploring the entire culinary landscape from Ballard to White Center.
“I believed we could show off our city in a much more authentic and tasty way if we’d abandon the sponsored sample trays and long walks. It is a blast escorting small groups of hungry people into all our many neighborhoods armed with silverware,” says lead storyteller, Bryce Lathrop. “The history, stories, and the variety of personalities is unique this town and is really quite incredible. I believe you can taste it in every bite,” Lathrop continues. For nearly two years, the company has compiled an extraordinary catalog of hidden food treasures unique to the area. In addition, they have discovered and collected stories of the personalities playing a role in the exploding food scene in Seattle. Soliciting the help of friends and family helped the company perfect the concept. Lathrop sums it up this way, “Think of that chubby, eccentric, and gregarious uncle renowned with the gift of hospitality. That one relative you love to spend the holidays with. We want to be that uncle - everyday, every meal.”
