North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association Announces 2011 National Pet Week

“Save a Life – Adopt a Pet” Will be Theme for Awareness Event May 1-7.

Raleigh, NC, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.ncvma.org/) has announced that National Pet Week is Sunday, May 1 through Saturday, May 7. National Pet Week is an annual week of awareness designed to foster responsible pet ownership, recognize the human-animal bond and increase public awareness of veterinary medicine. This year’s theme is “Save a Life – Adopt a Pet.”
