The duCret School of Art Spring Art Show

The Spring Art Show is May 1, from 2PM to 4PM, to be held on the duCret school grounds at 1030 Central Avenue, Plainfield NJ 07060. Parents, extended family, friends, co-workers and art lovers in general are invited out to view the artwork on display and mingle with the artists.

Plainfield, NJ, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Each year, just before graduation time, the duCret School of Art hosts a Spring Art Show that enables its student body to showcase their artwork. This year the Spring Art Show is May 1, from 2PM to 4PM, and parents, extended family, friends, co-workers and art lovers in general are invited out to view the artwork on display and mingle with the artists. This year, the artwork will also be on sale.

There will be a reception with refreshments and prizes. The grand prize winners will be featured in Swain’s Art Gallery. Swains, who holds a longtime relationship with duCret, is located at 703 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield NJ, in the historic Crescent District.

The duCret School of Art, NJ’s oldest private art school, is located at 1030 Central Avenue and is situated on a five acre campus in a historic residential area of Plainfield, NJ. The school offers post-secondary programs in Fine Art, Graphic Design/Computer graphics and Illustration. The school is state approved and nationally accredited.

Currently duCret is accepting applications for its Summer Workshop Program, which includes over 35 art classes for adults, children and teens.
