Miriello Grafico Helps TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tee Off

Innovative Maxfli packaging embodies new ‘maverick’ image and includes endorsement by John Daly

San Diego, CA, March 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Miriello Grafico Inc. (MGI), a graphic design and strategic marketing firm specializing in business communications today announced that new retail packaging is being unveiled for the TaylorMade-adidas Golf’s (TMaG) Maxfli Fire, Ice, Noodle and Powermax golf balls.

Looking to rejuvenate its high performance Maxfli line of golf balls, TMaG tapped MGI to increase the shelf presence and prominence of the Maxfli brand, while maintaining the unique personalities of four individual product lines. Designing the packaging graphics required MGI to create an individualistic look and feel mirroring the new “maverick” strategic position adopted by Maxfli.

To further support this revitalized attitude, TMaG signed renegade golf professional John Daly to be the new face of the Maxfli brand. “John embodies the ‘every man’ golfer and is an excellent fit for Maxfli,” said Dennis Garcia, Miriello Grafico art director and creative lead on the account. “Our goal with the new packaging was both to leverage the notoriety of John Daly and realign Maxfli ball offerings to strengthen the overall brand.”

The new packaging features prominent placement of the Maxfli name, combined with strong unifying graphics, bold colors and aggressive print production techniques.  Maxfli’s new look has already begun to hit retail shelves.
