DirectRooms.com reveals that a special night of classical music will be coming to Malaga in June with performances by world famous artists.
Malaga, Spain, April 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The evening of classic music will be performed by the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra who are recognised as one of the leading orchestras in Spain. As testament to this they’re going to be joined by world renowned viola player Roberto Diaz.
The performance will be split into two main parts and the first will consist of a composition by Z. Kodaly called the "Galante Dance." Audiences can then look forward to Krzysztof Penderecki’s special viola and orchestra concert. Penderecki’s piece is a show highlight as it will portray Diaz’s considerable talent on the viola and show why Krzysztof has been the winner of three Grammy Awards.
The second part will again see Diaz playing with the orchestra in recitals of M. Ravel’s "noble and sentimental waltzes" and Bartok B.’s "The Miraculous Mandarin, op.19." Diaz himself has been nominated for a Grammy Award and audience members new to his music can listen to see why he was principal violist for Philadelphia’s Orchestra.
Classical music enthusiasts staying in cheap Malaga Airport hotels can catch the performance on 10th June 2011 from 20:30 within the city’s Teatro Cervantes.
