The doctor-patient relationship represents a direct and personal interaction between two unique individuals. Great doctors care about their patients. Physicians must talk to and listen to their patients. Doctors make medical decisions based on their analysis of the patient’s appearance, attitude, mood, signs and symptoms. The best doctors are not buried in the bureaucracy of medicine. They are exhilarated by the opportunity to be healers. Medicine is a combination of art and science. Medical schools teach the science. This book focuses on the art.

122 pages in length, Being a Doctor: The Art of Medicine is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the medical and health care delivery category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Being a Doctor meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.
