100th Episode on Satellite Television

Bethesda, MD, March 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The 100th episode of "Perils For Pedestrians" will be broadcast on DISH Network this Tuesday, March 6. "Perils For Pedestrians" is a public affairs television series that looks at problems confronting pedestrians in their communities, and solutions to those problems from across the United States, and around the world. John Z Wetmore, host of the series, has interviewed advocates, engineers, planners, and public officials in all 50 states and in 9 foreign countries.

Among the stories on Episode 100, Wetmore looks at the Active Living Coalition that is improving the walking environment in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He drops in on a bicycle ride to evaluate bike facilities in Arlington, Virginia. And he attends International Walk To School Day in Bethesda, Maryland.

"Perils For Pedestrians" appears on DISH Network Channel 9411, The Universityhouse Channel, every Tuesday evening at 9:30 PM Eastern Time, 6:30 PM Pacific Time.
