The Downtown Stuart Craft Fair, a 14-year tradition in historic downtown Stuart, returns on May 14 – 15 with a wide variety of unique crafts handmade in America by the finest crafters in the country with prices set to suit all budgets. Osceola Street will be transformed into an outdoor craft showcase and will be closed to vehicular traffic from St. Lucie to Haney Circle and down to Denver. Partial proceeds from the festival benefit the Stuart Main Street Program. Admission is free and open to the public.
Craft enthusiasts can purchase one-of-a-kind gift items as well as meet the crafters who will be on site for the duration of the show, available to discuss their work and even take commissions. The artistic media include folk art, pottery, handmade jewelry, paintings, personalized gifts, handmade clothing, scented soaps and body products, with prices ranging from as little as $3 to $3,000. In addition, a Green Market will offer exotic quality plants for sale.
In order to ensure a first-rate event with superior affordable original crafts, all of the crafters have been hand-selected from hundreds of applicants by American Craft Endeavors, producers of the top outdoor craft festivals in the country.
