)-- The majority of property in the auction comes from the estate of Lonnie and Emily Wurn of Jacksonville, FL. The Wurns were world travelers and collected many of the offered lots on their travels. They were also very active in their community and Mr. Wurn was a trustee of the Cummer Museum in Jacksonville.
Highlights include a wonderful pair of life size 19th century blackamoors, an Empire lyre-form mantel clock by Gaston Jolly, a pair of large Carl Thieme porcelain covered urns, a Herman Miller Eames chair and ottoman, Asian Art including a six panel stone-mounted screen, a collection of sterling silver trumpet vases, and many interesting group lots.
