Mitegen Announces Mutual Distribution Agreements with NatX-ray

Improving customer access to industry leading products from both companies.

Ithaca, NY, April 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Mitegen LLC, a provider of innovative consumables for X-ray diffraction, crystallography and protein crystallization to academic, pharmaceutical, industrial and government researchers around the world, announced that it has signed mutual distribution agreements with NatX-ray a provider of high quality crystallization plates, phasing compounds and sample handing tools.

The agreements set the framework to allow customers of either company to buy products from both sources under a single purchase order to either supplier.

"NatX-ray is very proud to work with Mitegen, as the distribution agreement will enable them to provide NatX-ray’s customers with a broader range of products for crystallography," says Nathalie Larive, CEO of NatX-ray. "Mitegen offers an extensive catalogue of high technology products, which are complementary to NatX-ray’s own line of products. As an example, NatX-ray brand new CrystalQuick TM X plate, as well as the Mitegen micro RTTM X-ray capillaries, provide researchers with excellent solutions for X-ray screening at room temperature."

Customers can expect to be able to order Mitegen and NatX-ray products, through either vendor, by May 15, 2011.

“We are glad to expand our product offering to include NatX-ray’s fine product line, which includes their line of Lanthanide phasing compounds,” says Robert Newman, CEO of Mitegen. “We are always eager to work closely with industry leaders such as NatX-ray to improve our customer’s ease of access to our products. NatX-ray’s phasing compounds and Mitegen crystal handling tools such as Dual Thickness MicroMounts are industry leading tools that work well together.”

Both NatX-ray and Mitegen can be visited at the 2011 American Crystallographic Association meeting May 28-June 2 in New Orleans, and at the XXII Congress and General Assembly of the International Union of Crystallography in Madrid, Spain, August 22-30.
