Dorsey Levens’ Casts Atlanta Housewife and Former NFL Players in Familiar Roles in New Play "Stripped" - Tickets on Sale Now

Levens Communications and A Higher Calling Theatre Company bring the stage play “Stripped” to Georgia Tech's Ferst Center. The partnership’s previous production “Torn” opened to rave reviews at Atlanta’s 14th Street Playhouse in 2010.

Atlanta, GA, May 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- “Stripped” peels away the layers of the life of professional football player Jayden Dorsey, revealing the true charge and sacrifice of being a high profile athlete. In a striking play on “Stripped’s” theme, the cast includes former athletes turned actors Dorsey Levens, Ryan Stewart, Harvey Armstrong and Karon Joseph Riley.

Former Real Atlanta Housewives’ Lisa Wu Hartwell has a starring role as Dorsey’s wife. Known for her bubbly and warm personality, Lisa’s counterpart in the play reflects her real life status as the wife of former NFL player Ed Hartwell. Every bit the renaissance woman, from her clothing line to her real estate firm, Hartwell is delighted to get back on stage in Atlanta.

“Levens Communications has definitely found a home in the Atlanta community,” says Dorsey, “People really embraced 'Torn,' and I’m confident they will do the same with 'Stripped.' We have a stellar cast that truly brings 'Stripped’s' message to life.”

It was a natural choice to open at Georgia Tech’s Ferst Center for the Arts, as both Dorsey and Ryan are alumni. Throughout their college, professional, and post professional careers, the GA Tech family has been a dependable support system.

“Stripped” opens on July 27th and runs until July 31st. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit www.levenscommunications.com

“Stripped” is sponsored in part by RC Cancer Centers, 790 the Zone, Clear Channel Outdoor and the Atlanta Business Journal.
