“I actually started this company by accident,” Jim says. “I was spending the summer in NYC with a friend, and his landlord needed someone to paint one of the apartments. My friend was unavailable, so I volunteered to take his place. The next thing I knew, they asked me if I could paint another apartment…then another one.” Now it’s been almost 40 years, and the rest, as they say, is history.
