Cleveland Rapper "Severe Tha Boss" Signs with New International Label, Expat Records

The Ohio Hip Hop artist, known by many as “The Vigilante” has recently made the move to solo artist having fronted acclaimed rap group “IRS Da Squad” since 2003.

Cleveland, OH, May 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Cleveland rapper, Severe Tha Boss has recently signed a deal with Expat Records to release his forthcoming solo album, yet to be named. The Ohio native, who has been rapping since elementary school has built up a solid fanbase and following over the past years and has reached over 200,000 plays on his Myspace page. Severe Tha Boss has chosen to work with the dynamic Expat Records, having made the recent transition from group front man to solo rapper.

Performing in everything from talent shows, to battles, to opening spots over the past 10 years, Severe Tha Boss has proclaimed that he is “ready for the next level.” Since signing to Expat Records Severe Tha Boss states that “this is the most excited I’ve ever been.” He vows to put out his best project yet with this new project. “I’m trying to make classics, not hits. Originality is what making music is all about. All I gotta say is stay tuned, keep your eyes and ears open. I'm on my way to the top.”
