Villanova Preparatory School of Ojai, Calfornia Hires Development Director
Jeanne M. Brown has been hired a new director of development at Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai, California.
Ojai, CA, May 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Jeanne M. Brown, has been hired as the Director of Development for Villanova Preparatory School. Jeanne brings an impressive professional background to our school family with nearly 20 years of successful leadership in fundraising, marketing and public relations.
Mrs. Brown’s responsibilities will be to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan and to assist Villanova’s President, Fr. Gregory Heidenblut, OSA, with identification and achievement of strategic goals. “She is an exceptional communicator with a proven track record of fostering non-profit growth by developing donor relationships and community relations campaigns,” said Rev. Heidenblut.
A Ventura County resident since 1989, Mrs. Brown was instrumental in the management and implementation of a comprehensive fund development program at the Moorpark College Foundation. Most recently, Brown has been a consultant for local nonprofits, including the Simi Valley Police Foundation and California Lutheran University.
On a personal note, Mrs. Brown is married to Professor Daniel Patrick Brown and they have six children ages 17 to 27. Three of their children attended St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura and Mr. Brown taught in Catholic high schools early in his career.
Mrs. Brown stated upon acceptance of the position at Villanova, “I am thrilled to be joining Villanova as the director of development. The responsibilities of this position and the mission of the school are in sync with my values, interests and experience.”
