PublishAmerica Presents The History of the 104th Combat Engineers by Edward T. Cook

Frederick, MD, March 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- PublishAmerica is proud to present The History of the 104th Combat Engineers: Pacific Campaign: 1942-1945 by Zion, Illinois author Edward T. Cook.

The first release from Edward T. Cook is the historical account of the 104th Combat Engineers during World War II. Cook’s inspiration for his book was his late father, Major Edward T. Cook, Sr., who served with the 104th Combat Engineers during the Pacific Campaign of 1942-1945.

Edward Cook is currently a police lieutenant with a major university police department in the Midwest. He has served with the law-enforcement community for over thirty years, both in Illinois and Michigan. Between spending time with his wife, son, parrot, and cat, and taking the family to see America, he finds time to write, and is working on another book on police stories, covering his thirty years of law-enforcement experiences.

PublishAmerica is the home of 20,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
