Emperor’s College Offers Scholarships and Financing Options for Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Program

Scholarships and financial assistance options allow doctoral fellows to easily and responsibly fund their doctoral training.

Santa Monica, CA, May 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, one of the oldest and most distinguished acupuncture colleges in the nation, recently introduced numerous scholarships for its Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program. The scholarships are intended to provide financial assistance to doctoral fellows who might otherwise be unable to pursue the highest degree available in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, along with recognition and added remuneration.

“Our intention was to offer those seeking a doctoral degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine an opportunity to make program costs affordable,” said David Migocki, PhD, Doctoral Program Director at Emperor’s College. Scholarships are awarded annually with the highest available amount of $10,000.

Doctoral Fellows Benefit from Special Privileges

In addition to offering attractive scholarships, Emperor’s College is one of the few acupuncture schools in the nation that has partnered with a major financial institution so that doctoral fellows can easily and responsibly fund their doctoral training.

Thanks to its preferred relationship status with Union Bank, Emperor’s College is able to offer doctoral fellows private lender financing options specifically designed for their individual needs as well as additional benefits when opening an account with Union Bank. “We understand Oriental medicine practitioners can face various financial challenges,” said Yun Kim, CEO at Emperor’s College. “Like other small business owners and health care entrepreneurs, financing is often needed to grow a practice and take a career to the next level. We have entered a preferred relationship status with Union Bank so that our doctoral fellows can take advantage of special privileges when it comes to financing their post-graduate training.”

At Emperor’s College, doctoral fellows are assigned two designated Union Bank Priority Banking Managers who provide expert guidance when it comes to determining which loan or line of credit is right for them.
