Dickey’s Barbecue Recognized with Reader’s Choice Award "Best Barbecue in the Triangle" and Will Host a Customer Appreciation Event

Dickey’s in appreciation of the award and customer loyalty provides a discount to members of their Big Yellow Cup Club and their local Facebook fans.

Chapel Hill, NC, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Gregory Woloszczuk, President of GMW Carolina, Inc. that locally owns and operates the Triangle Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations in Cary, Durham, and Raleigh is proud to announce that readers of Triangle Arts & Entertainment.org voted them “Best Barbecue in the Triangle” for 2011. As thanks for loyal customer support, all Triangle locations will host a customer appreciation event on Tuesday, May 17. All members of the newsletter / loyalty program, know as the Big Yellow Cup Club, will receive an email for a discount on all sandwiches early Tuesday morning. The Westerner, the largest sandwich, with more meat, cheese, and less bread than sandwich competitors, will be available for $5 with the coupon. The Lil’ Hoagie that is a similar size to barbecue competitors regular sized sandwiches will be available for $1 with the offer. The number one selling Big Barbecue sandwich will be $3. All customers will be allowed to select from 7 of 8 meats, ribs not included for this event, to have their favorite for this event.

Anyone that registers before midnight Monday at Dickeys.com and selects any of the Triangle locations as their primary site will also receive the offer. All fan’s that “like” them on Facebook for the Triangle, dickeys_nc, will also have the offer available for download.
