Teen Hip Hop Duo "Sike Yo Mind" Sign Album Deal with Expat Records

Sike Yo Mind, the teen hip hop duo from Grand Rapids, Michigan have chosen to partner with the new International label for their forthcoming EP release, a blend of smooth hip hop and electronica.

Grand Rapids, MI, May 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The young hip hop group from Grand Rapids, Michigan consist of two teenage musicians. Ming Tran (M Tran), age 17, who moved to the United States from Taipei, Taiwan at the age of 2 and Mustaf Grajgevci (Mussy G), age 16, originally from Prishting, Albania.

The teen hip hop collective have been making music together for the past 2 years, during which time they have been developing their sound and playing to live audiences across Michigan.

Discovered by Expat Records A&R Steve Roberts after hearing a recent demo from their manager at the beginning of 2011, the hip hop collective are currently working on completing material for their debut release. Commenting on the deal Ming Tran said, “We are thrilled to be working with Expat Records. Our focus right now is on completing our first EP which will include a mixture of uplifting hip hop with a summery vibe that will definitely appeal to the maintstream. The tracks go down amazingly well at our gigs. We can’t wait to put it out and are very excited about the future.”

The debut release from Sike Yo Mind yet to be named and include the track "Summertime" featuring Jesse Fick. The EP will be released on Expat Records in summer 2011.
