New York, NY, May 18, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Mobile app publisher and developer Shifting Blue, today announced the release and immediate availability of Saucer Central, an exciting new game for both iOS and Android devices.
Saucer Central challenges players, taking on the role of saucer traffic controllers, to guide incoming flying saucers to their proper landing spots on alien planets, moons, and space stations while avoiding collisions with other incoming saucer traffic and attempting to earn bonus points by picking up lost luggage items floating in space.
Saucer Central is a highly engaging game that is easy to pick up and hard to put down. Its touch-based controls are extremely intuitive and easy to learn. The arrivals start out at a leisurely pace but things get quite hectic as more and more alien craft fill the skies.
Developed by the same team that created one of the 2010 holiday season's top selling entertainment apps, Santa Tracker HD, Saucer Central combines gorgeous graphics and a soundtrack inspired by classic science fiction to create a fun and compelling game experience.
"We are extremely excited to be bringing our first simultaneous iOS/Android release to market," said Shifting Blue founder Steven Cross. "While we are fully committed to iPhone and iPad app development, the Android market and development tools have matured greatly of late and we are looking forward to a cross-platform release for the majority of our upcoming titles."
Saucer Central is available now in the iTunes App Store and Android Market and is coming soon to the Amazon Appstore for Android.
