Australian Institute of Business Brokers Inc Merger with Business Brokers of Western Australia Inc.

National President of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB), Mr Paul Nielsen, announced today that agreement had been reached with the Business Brokers Association of Western Australia (BBWA) to amalgamate the two Associations forming a representative body of over 320 individual professionals involved in facilitating the transfer of Small to Medium businesses from one Owner to another.

The AIBB is the only National Industry Association focused solely on facilitating business transfers between the estimated 2.7 million SME's in Australia ranging from small Owner Operated businesses to Multi Million dollar Corporations. The Institute operates its own Certification Programs for Members to maintain the highest Technical, Ethical and Professional Standards and is a Chapter Member of the International Business Brokers Association to keep abreast of best practices trends overseas.

The AIBB regularly makes representations to State and Federal Governments on matters affecting the Industry and Consumer affairs and Members sit on a number of Government Advisory panels.
