Record $4.8 Million Jackpot Won Sunday at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Final Ca$hola Jackpot to be Paid is Also Delaware’s Largest

Dickerson was given an initial $10,000 pay out by Dover Downs Hotel & Casino on May 15. He has three weeks to decide whether to receive the remaining funds in a 30-year annuity or take a lump sum cash payout of $2,927,899.

Not only did Dickerson score the largest jackpot in Delaware history, but he is also the winner of the final Ca$hola jackpot, which is ending its five-year run after paying over $52 million total in annuity jackpot prizes. Three of the largest four jackpots at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino have been hit on a Ca$hola machine. A Laurel, Md. man won a $1,034,191 jackpot in July 2008, and a Dover, Del. woman won $318,760 in July 2007.
