Internexa and Kayote Networks Partner to Deploy VoIP Interconnectivity Services Across Latin America

Internexa selects Kayote’s hosted VoIP platform as fast-track solution for Latin America carriers to offer VoIP services.

Jerusalem, Israel, March 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Kayote Networks Inc., the leading provider of hosted VoIP interconnectivity solutions, and Internexa, a carrier of carriers and an affiliate company of the ISA Group, today announced a partnership that will enable millions of customers in the Andean Region to enjoy advanced Voice over IP (VoIP) services. Internexa’s customers – the region’s largest carriers - will provide VoIP services to customers in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

"As the demand for advanced IP services in Latin America is rapidly growing, Internexa’s strategy is to strengthen its presence in the market through strategic partners," said Genaro Garcia, CEO of Internexa. “Kayote Networks’ VoIP expertise will enable our customers to launch best-in-class VoIP services for their customers across the region.”

The VoIP market in Latin America represents a significant opportunity for carriers such as Internexa’s customers. According to Insight Research, VoIP calling revenue accounted for 58 percent of the $14 billion spent in Latin American countries on international calling during 2004.

“We are proud that Internexa has selected our unique hosted platform as a fast-track to enhance its VoIP offering,” said Dr. Baruch Sterman, CEO of Kayote Networks. “Together, we can quickly offer VoIP services to Internexa’s customers - some of Latin America’s premier carriers - thereby enhancing communications for millions of customers. More companies are looking to bundle VoIP services, but are hesitant to invest in equipment, resources, and especially the corporate focus required to keep up with the rapidly evolving technology that will keep them competitive. We predict that 2007 will see a widespread adoption of the Hosted VoIP model.”

Through this partnership, Kayote will provide Internexa with full access to its existing carrier-grade global VoIP network. This will allow Internexa to provide an easy but powerful VoIP platform to its customers. Internexa’s customers, the region’s leading service providers, will then be able to offer advanced VoIP services to the customers, answering the strong demand for VoIP in Latin America.

Kayote Networks launched its hosted VoIP Traffic Manager (VTM) in 2006, and has since received outstanding market feedback. The VTM allows carriers, cable operators, ITSPs and enterprises of all sizes to offer their customers the most advanced VoIP services available and maintain full control of the network, without having to invest in the deployment and maintenance of a costly VoIP network.
