Emergency Medicine Physicians Directors' Meeting with ED Nurse Managers has become an annual event, this year taking place on May 25-26, 2011, in Charlotte, North Carolina. This meeting brings together EMP Directors from each of their 60 hospitals across the nation, as well as assistant directors, other leadership, staff physicians, and the EMP Scholars class. The meeting gives their nursing professional partners an opportunity to meet all of their leadership, to interact and share their ideas, and to collaborate with other nursing colleagues across the US to help make EMP's Emergency Departments operate more efficiently. EMP partner-hospital nurses may contact the ED Medical Director for more information.
