NBS and Transbeam Expand Ethernet Over Copper Coverage

Transbeam EoC Services Can Now be Offered to Even More Locations by NBS Agents.

Wayne, NJ, May 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- NBS, a telecommunications service provider and reseller, in keeping with its multi-carrier, multi-service approach to business communications, has announced that it has added the Ethernet over Copper (EoC) services of Transbeam to its portfolio of voice and data offerings. Transbeam, one of the fastest-growing network-based providers of carrier class Ethernet services, has recently expanded their EoC footprint to major cities in 11 states.

Over the past 25 years NBS has forged resale partnerships with a multitude of channel agents and dealers. Their channel partners provide vital business communications services to clients from small to enterprise-sized businesses nation-wide. NBS has carrier agreements in place with over 30 service providers, and is now offering access to EoC services from over 850 central office locations. They have added Transbeam to the mix in hopes of giving their channel partners an even greater degree of flexibility in choosing the telecom solutions that best fit the specific requirements of their customers.

“Being an agent-centric provider, we always try to give our channel partners the widest array of solutions to offer their customers,” stated NBS President Russell Markman. “We see Transbeam’s expanding EoC coverage as a win-win scenario for our agents. The more service locations our agents can implement these solutions to, the more of a competitive advantage we can give them to go out and win more business,” he later added.

Marc Sellouk, Transbeam’s Founder and CEO said: “We are excited to work with NBS to expand their footprint to their customers. Transbeam has been growing its EOC network and customer base for years and we see a tremendous opportunity for our services as the demand for affordable and reliable Metro Ethernet services continues to increase. We look forward to growing our businesses together.”

NBS’ focus, since its inception in 1984, has been to be the one source that its agents and dealers can turn to for all their clients’ telecommunications needs. They supply both voice and data services, including both IP and TDM delivery, while also offering full back office support and customer billing services.

NBS will be discussing in detail the products and services that their channel network can offer at the Fall Channel Partners Conference & Expo, coming up in August of 2011, in Chicago, IL. From hosted VoIP to SIP and TDM based services, the company will be available to discuss their full product line at the show. They will be exhibiting at booth number 1421 at the Chicago show this year. They plan on meeting with new and existing dealers throughout the show, which will run from August 24th-26th, 2011.
