Parker, CO, May 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Custom homebuilder Scott Moberg of G.J. The community of Wild Pointe Ranch in Elizabeth is making use of pioneering building practices as part of its net-zero goals.

Earth’s subterranean furnace means hot savings for home energy needs.

According to a recent Fox News online article, geothermal energy use is on the rise in the United States. It is essentially free heat that comes from under your feet, and according to the annual report by the Geothermal Energy Association; the United States is using more of it. While Wild Pointe Ranch does not require geothermal on every home built, it will be highly encouraged. The article mentions Wild Pointe Ranch and the fact that it will be one of the largest energy conscious communities in the country when complete, as well as the first in the American market to use integrated energy systems.

Scott Moberg, GJ Gardner – Parker franchisee since 2010, has extensive experience in custom homebuilding including Green Certified and sustainable homes. He’s excited about being a Wild Pointe Ranch builder. “It’s an exceptional site to build an Energy Smart home,” he states. “Buyers will get the home of their dreams, built using the latest trends in green building and renewable energy systems.”

G.J. Gardner Energy Freedom model home aims for Energy Star 3.0 status
Moberg’s model home will be part of the Energy Freedom New Home Showcase taking place in August 2011. He has enlisted the help of G.J. Gardner’s subcontractors and suppliers to obtain Energy Star’s 3.0 status for the Energy Freedom model home. In addition, G.J.
