HSBCAMPS to Bring Southern Idaho Youth Face-to-Face with Basketball Pros

HSBCAMPS Chooses Local Twin Falls High School as the Newest 2011 Idaho Youth Basketball Camp Location

Twin Falls, ID, May 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- It’s almost summer camp season, and for young men and women in the Magic Valley looking to “elevate their game” on the basketball court this summer, things just got a whole lot brighter. HSBCAMPS, America’s fastest growing youth basketball program and leader in bringing kids of all ages face-to-face with the pros, has chosen Canyon Ridge High School of Twin Falls, to host one of its world-class youth basketball camps geared towards “giving back.” Canyon Ridge becomes the third destination on HSBCAMPS upcoming Idaho tour. Organizers have announced they will donate a portion of all camp proceeds back to the community and make scholarships available for underprivileged kids wishing to attend the Morning Clinic and Day Camp slated for July 6 to July 8, 2011.

The HSBCAMPS Morning Clinic and Day Camp will challenge boys and girls in the upper elementary, middle, and high school grades (1-12th), with a comprehensive curriculum of fundamental player development drills, station work, organized team competitions, contests, and guest lectures, all under HSBCAMPS world-class staff of collegiate and professional players and coaches. Every participant will receive extensive knowledge and instruction on every aspect of the game, including intense one-on-one individualized training from an industry leading 8:1 player to coach ratio. The camps also includes a free camp T-shirt, a Baden Basketball, a detailed player evaluation, a VIP Shoe & Apparel Deal from Eastbay, and a variety of other giveaways provided by sponsors. The Morning Clinic is open to youth in grades one through three. The Day Camp is open to youth in grades four through twelve.

“Idaho is where it all started for us and being a product of the state myself, it has always been close to my heart,” explains Carson Sofro, HSBCAMPS Founder. “Providing exciting new opportunities for these kids close to home is what this program is all about.” HSBCAMPS prides itself as a youth basketball program that “gives back,” donating a portion of every program’s proceeds to schools and non-profits within each of the communities they serve. With more than $50,000 raised to date, HSBCAMPS stands firm in its commitment to provide every child, regardless of age or income, with an opportunity to attend.

In addition to the Twin Falls, the nationally expanding youth basketball camp will also be serving up high scoring experiences in Dallas, Texas; Houston, Texas; Boise, Idaho; Hailey, Idaho; Bend, Oregon; Medford, Oregon; Park City, Utah; San Diego, California; and Bellevue, Washington.
