EMP Partners with Casa Grande Medical Center

Emergency Medicine Physician Partners is pleased to announce that we will begin emergency department services at Casa Grande, Arizona, effective May 1, 2011. David Sloss, MD, will be the Medical Director for this emergency department.

Canton, OH, June 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Casa Grande Regional Medical Center is a full-service, non-profit, community-owned hospital that provides health care to the Casa Grande Valley of Arizona, an area strategically located at the intersection of two interstate highways (I-8 and I-10) in an area known as Arizona's Golden Corridor. Midway between Phoenix and Tucson, the city of Casa Grande has grown to be the largest community in western Pinal County since its incorporation in 1915 and was named for the famous Hohokam Indian Ruins 20 miles to the northeast.

Casa Grande Regional Medical Center ED has an annual volume of 40,000 visits. The hospital is Joint Commission Accredited and Medicare Certified, providing patient care within its 187 rooms. State of the art procedures and equipment include interventional cardiology; medical imaging featuring PET, high-definition MRI, multi-slice CT, and digital radiology; a Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric oxygen chambers, and an AirEvac helicopter and EMS Base Station. An Urgent Care Center adjoining the campus is open seven days a week. EMP Partners is providing Board Certified emergency physicians and emergency trained mid-level providers for emergency and trauma care 24 hours a day.
