Cypress Bend Golf Resort to Host Book Signing with RT Tulley Author of Newly Released “Louisiana Golfer’s Paradise: The Audubon Golf Trail”

A portion of each book sold will benefit The David Toms Foundation.

Many, LA, May 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Cypress Bend Golf Resort, located 70 miles south of Shreveport and part of the famed Audubon Golf Trail, will host an exclusive book signing event with RT Tulley, author of the newly released “Louisiana Golfer’s Paradise: The Audubon Golf Trail,” on Thursday, June 30.

Beginning at 6 p.m., Tulley will sign copies of his hardbound, coffee-table book with foreword by PGA golfer and Louisiana native David Toms. The book highlights each course on the famed Audubon Golf Trail with more than 300 images taken by Tulley, details of each course, their architects and signature holes. Additionally, golf enthusiasts will enjoy a private dinner with the author overlooking Toledo Bend Lake and the 18th green of Cypress Bend’s golf course. Individual dinner tickets are $24.95 per person.

For those looking for a complete golf experience, Cypress Bend Resort is offering a $150 package which includes overnight accommodations, one ticket for dinner with Tulley and a signed copy of “Louisiana Golfer’s Paradise: The Audubon Golf Trail.” The next morning, guests can play a round with Tulley and Cypress Bend Resort’s golf pro for $35 per person.

“People are often amazed at the elevation changes at the Augusta National Golf Course, where the Masters is played. I am a huge fan of The Masters and the beauty of the Augusta National Golf Club. Having been to Augusta National for practice at Masters Tournament, I can testify that Cypress Bend surpasses Augusta National in both elevation change and in the beauty of the scenery,” says Tulley.

Known for its rolling hills and dramatic scenery overlooking Toledo Bend Lake, the 18-hole course at Cypress Bend features hidden coves and inlets along the water. Players may even spot an alligator or two along the way.

A portion of each book sold will benefit The David Toms Foundation which helps underprivileged, abused and abandoned children through funding programs designed to enhance a child’s character, self-esteem and career possibilities.

While at the resort, take part in other activities such as full or half-day fishing excursions with a professional guide on Toledo Bend Lake, a hike on the resort’s six-mile nature trail winding through lush forests and along the lake or indulge in one of our luxurious spa treatments.
