Washington, DC, June 04, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- SRxA Strategic Pharmaceutical Advisors, a leading healthcare consulting, marketing and education firm, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Chairman and organizers of the 2011 American Cough Conference (ACC) to become the exclusive provider of a rapid dissemination post-symposium e-Newsletter.
The ACC is the nation’s leading educational program on cough for health care professionals. This year’s conference, which will take place in New York on June 10-11, will gather together many of the world’s leading experts in cough. There, they will discuss the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of cough, and the latest developments in basic and clinical research.
Chaired by Dr. Peter Dicpinigaitis, Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the ACC has attracted an international Faculty and a worldwide audience of cough experts. While the 2011 ACC expects to welcome over 150 physicians and researchers from around the globe, the organizers recognize that there are thousands of other pulmonologists, allergists, and cough specialists who would be interested in the meeting.
Accordingly, SRxA and its team of independent Clinical Advisors will develop, produce and distribute an interactive e-Newsletter within four weeks of the Conference. The e-Newsletter will feature a blend of scientific session reviews, “hot topic” discussions, key takeaway messages, and other pertinent information. Development, publication and distribution of the e-Newsletter will be handled by SRxA. Sponsorship efforts are ongoing.
“This electronic newsletter will enable us to reach a much wider audience than we have previously been able to address due to the capacity of the live event. It will be a perfect complement to the program and will provide both attendees and non-attendees with a glimpse into the American Cough Conference” said ACC Chairman Dr. Peter Dicpinigaitis. He continued commenting “SRxA was the natural choice as a partner in this endeavor because of their proven track record in producing informative and intriguing peer-reviewed, rapid electronic publications following scientific congresses.”
“We are delighted to work with Dr. Dicpinigaitis in the development and production of this conference information vehicle, and provide the global medical community with a timely flavor of the American Cough Conference,” commented Christos Efessiou, PhD, SRxA’s Chief Executive Officer.
