Overnight Ghost Hunt at the White Hart, Gainsborough with Simply Ghost Nights

Yorkshire, United Kingdom, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On Friday the 17th of June the Simply Ghost Nights team take part in a paranormal investigation at the 16th century former coaching inn. The White Hart is steeped in history; hidden rooms, suicides, and ladies of the night, are the only the fabric of the make-up that they know about this old building. The Simply Ghost Nights will attempt to delve deeper into its past, as they investigate the strange noises and disembodied voices of patrons from a time long since gone.

The entrance lobby was once used as an entrance to the stables where the coach and horses would be then changed before they carried on their way, whilst the travellers would visit this old coaching inn for a stopover. An apparition of an old woman has been seen on many occasions in this area, and the sound of horses hooves have been reported in the past.

Room 23 harbours a secret past, some years ago when the rooms were been refurbished the builders discovered a secret room which had been bricked up, when they knocked down the adjoining wall they discovered a study like room complete with desk and typewriter as though set up as a museum display.

Nobody knows the reason for this, and the paranormal investigators cannot wait to see what else they discover at one of Gainsborough's reputedly most haunted buildings.
