Glass Appoints Head of Mobile to Strengthen Its Digital Core Offering

Glass appoints Chris Massey as head of mobile to strengthen its digital core offering and mobile services.

London, United Kingdom, March 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Digital communications agency Glass continues to strengthen its position as a one-stop-shop for convergent communications across multiple platforms, including online, mobile and digital TV, with the appointment of Craig Massey to head up the Glass mobile team. He has acted as a consultant to Glass since November last year.

Craig brings to Glass considerable experience and knowledge of the mobile industry - a mobile pioneer, he has been in the mobile industry for the past seven years.

Craig was previously CEO of Brainstorm, a technology company that created 'Dragon', the industry-leading mobile marketing platform, and subsequently acquired by Opera Telecom in 2004. In his role as CEO of Brainstorm, Craig was part of the founding team of the Mobile Marketing Association in 1999.

He has also worked, using Dragon, with a number of major blue-chips, such as O2, Virgin Mobile, BBC, CNN, Reuters, ITV, and Vodafone, delivering mobile marketing campaigns, user-generated-content modules, broadcaster interactive modules and inbound video and MMS.

Ben Hart, Glass co-founder and CEO, says the appointment is part of the company's strategy to offering an integrated portfolio of digital services across multiple platforms. He adds: "It has always been part of our core belief that we need to reach consumers across multiple channels, at different times and in different locations. Having initiated many mobile activities for our clients, including mobile internet sites and interactive mobile marketing campaigns, we are pleased to strengthen our digital core offering to our clients with the addition of Craig to our team."

Commenting on his appointment, Craig says, "Unlike a specialist mobile marketing company, Glass offer a truly convergent solution, allowing us to properly integrate mobile and web seamlessly rather than it typically being bolted on at the end, which is most often the case for specialist mobile agencies. I'm delighted to be joining the Glass team and look forward to continuing the push for truly integrated and convergent digital communications solutions."

The announcement follows the appointment last month of Marcus Rohrt, as SEO executive.

The moves are a direct response to significant growth within the agency in terms of client wins and billings.
