Spice Up Your Day for Free – with Dickey’s Barbecue New Breakfast Taco

Dickey’s is introducing a new breakfast menu item in the Triangle - a new Spicy Cheddar Sausage breakfast taco and slider – first 100 new Facebook fans will get to try the taco for free.

Raleigh, NC, June 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- What is better than starting you day with a great breakfast? How about a great free breakfast?

After adding Spicy Cheddar Sausage as the first new signature hickory smoked meat in 50 years to the menu – Dickey’s found that customers loved the sausage for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. Thus they are introducing it as part of their breakfast menu in Raleigh and available for catering from any Triangle location. The Spicy Cheddar Sausage with egg, cheese and a soft taco shell is a great hit. They have already provided a free sample to current members of their loyalty program – the Big Yellow Cup Club and all current fan’s that “like” them on Facebook. They are now offering a free sample to the first 100 new fans of dickeys_nc, to download the offer.

Dickey’s has catered many breakfast events and established a loyal following of their breakfast menu that includes tacos, sliders, and parfaits. The combination of beef brisket, egg and cheese on a soft taco shell along with the other meats was already a hit. Adding a spicy option is helping them create something that no one else has. Customers that have tasted their new taco have raved and said "it is just right on the level of spice." Customers have commented that "Dickey’s has changed their perception and now say great barbecue isn't just for lunch and dinner anymore." Dickey’s expects this breakfast taco to help spice up the start of any meeting vs traditional pastry at similar costs.

Earlier this year they had “a limited time offer” – Spicy Cheddar Sausage – it is based on their secret polish sausage recipe and loaded with cheddar cheese and a touch of cayenne pepper. It was so successful Dickey’s added it as a permanent addition to the menu – the first new signature hickory smoked meat in 50 years.
