Jim Mikula Named General Manager of Boot Ranch

New GM Brings Extensive Resort Hospitality Background to the Texas Hill Country.

Fredericksburg, TX, June 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Boot Ranch Golf Club and luxury real estate community has a new permanent Club General Manager, Jim Mikula, who will oversee all operations of the club including the new $30 million clubhouse village, announced Charles Perry of Pine Street Partners, Asset Manager for the development.

“Mikula has what it takes in terms of a broad base of experience to lead Boot Ranch in the manner we have all envisioned – members, residents, employees and owners,” noted Perry.

The upscale, 2,050-acre community in Fredericksburg, Texas has long been recognized as one of the most spectacular projects in the State, and with the recent upswing in this real estate market, full-scale sales efforts are again underway. The Boot Ranch exclusive golf course was also recently ranked in the top 10 courses in Texas for 2011 by the Dallas Morning News.

Mikula bring a vast array of experience in luxury communities and the hospitality industry. He was most recently General Manager of The Baronette Renaissance Hotel, (www.thebaronette.com) a high end boutique hotel in upscale Novi, Michigan and which won outstanding reviews. The project underwent a $10 million renovation under Mikula’s supervision.

Prior to that he was General Manager of an upscale private golf club and luxury community, Cornerstone Colorado (www.cornerstonecolorado.com) with a Greg Norman-designed course, located near Telluride. He helped oversee completion and maintenance of the golf course which was named Golf Magazine’s best new private course in 2009 and the construction of golf villas and clubhouse. Previously he has had positions working for or consulting with Four Seasons Residence Clubs, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Exclusive Resorts, The Irvine Company’s Pelican Hill Resort, and others.

He also oversaw development of five hotel projects in India. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
