Your Time Publishing’s Author Kima Richard to Read her Début Children’s Book “Possibilities” at the MLK Branch Library

A few days ahead of the official release date Kima Richard will introduce her characters History and Heritage Hanks to the students and guests at the Martin Luther King Jr. Branch Library in New Orleans, Louisiana.

New Orleans, LA, June 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Freshmen author Kima Richard will read her book "Possibilities" at the Martin Luther King Branch Library located in the Lower Ninth Ward at 1611 Caffin Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana on June 15, 2011 at 10am. She has created the characters History and Heritage Hanks, a brother and sister duo from New Orleans. The artist, Joe Parker, took her vision and has brought them to life. These two beautiful and intelligent characters will go on many journeys as they explore the life's possibilities. This is the first in the series as they discover the power of knowing your history and living your heritage. The main age group for this book is 4-7 but could be interesting to all pre-teens. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.

Kima Lucille Richard is a resident of St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana; she is a Cum Laude graduate of Southern University at New Orleans and is currently a graduate student at Our Lady of Holy Cross College, where she is pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling. Kima aims to create a series of History and Heritage books that promote self-love, positive self-image, cultural awareness, and cultural pride. Possibilities, is the first book in the History and Heritage Series.

There will be a meet and greet with Kima L. Richard, the author of "Possibilities" on June 18, 2011, 12pm to 4pm at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Dr. Violet, LA. 70092. There will be a book signing, face painting, games for the children, musical guests and guest speakers. Also food and concessions will be offered for a donation.
