Stephen Dent Construction Bidding on New Wisconsin Center for the Arts Building

Milwaukee, WI, June 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Rumors of a new Wisconsin Center for the Arts building have been circulating for quite some time, and were finally validated last week by the Wisconsin City Counsel. The project has been opened up for bidding, and Stephen Dent Construction was one of the first companies to enter their bid.

Construction is currently expected to start in late January 2012, with bidding closing in September. In addition to Stephen Dent, two other companies have placed their bid for the job, but they are both new, unheard of companies and experts are not expecting them to win the bid. American Construction and Gray Builders of Wisconsin are expected to place bids on the arts center, but as of yet they haven’t spoken publicly on the issue.

Financial experts feel that it is highly likely that Stephen Dent will win the bid because of their experience in the green building field. It is believed that the City of Milwaukee is looking for a modern design in every sense of the word-the building should be unique, futuristic, and sustainable. Of all current bidders, Stephen Dent Construction is the only company that routinely delivers construction projects of that nature.

Everyone is eager to see who will bid next and ultimately, who will win the bid. Companies have just under 3 months to complete and submit their bids, so it won’t be long until the Wisconsin Center for the Arts in well underway.
