Lake Minnetonka, MN, June 16, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- In the first tournament of the year on Lake Minnetonka, Dan Jasper places 2nd by focusing on post-spawn Largemouth Bass. With the water temps in the mid 70's, most of the female Bass had pulled off their beds in the shallow cuts. Dan started working the inside weed lines using an All-Terrain Stick Bait. He used this slow presentation to catch the majority of his fish. Dan ended the tournament fishing a Rapala DT 6 on a rocky flat to cull one last time, giving him enough weight to secure second place. Dan is a fishing guide on Lake Minnetonka and other area lakes. "Spending time on the water is key to finding and catching fish this time of year," explains Dan Jasper.
