London, United Kingdom, March 20, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- The Daily Mail Ideal Home Show has installed a webcam for this year’s event to increase awareness that the show has begun. Visitors to www.idealhomeshow.co.uk can see the show live in action on the home page.
Tim Holmes from dmg world media said, “The idea of having a webcam on our site came when we were looking for ways to really get across to people that the show is now on. We still get calls weeks after the show has finished from people wanting to buy tickets. By being able to see the show live on the site we hope it will increase the sense of urgency.”
dmg world media worked with South London-based video streaming technology company Sonique who installed and manage the camera and live feed. Natalie Griffiths from Sonique Ltd said, “Webcams are a great way of engaging visitors. Having the live video on the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show website lets people see what they’re missing out on!” The Daily Mail Ideal Home Show is now on at Earls Court until the 1st of April.
