Glow Networks, Goldbelt Cedar Announce Strategic Alliance to Expand Reach of IT & Telecommunications' Services

With combined strengths, the two companies expect to provide enterprise related telecom and IT services for US Federal, State and local agencies directly as well as through other large systems integrators and telecom equipment vendors.

Richardson, TX, March 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Glow Networks, Inc. (www.glownetworks.com), an ISO9001/TL9000 certified telecommunications engineering and consulting firm, has entered into a strategic alliance with Goldbelt Cedar (www.goldbeltcedar.com) to offer IT and Telecommunications related services to a wider client base in the public and private sector.

As per the "teaming agreement" between the two companies, they will collectively develop and submit bids for projects from various Federal, State and Local agencies. Besides directly bidding for such projects, they will collaborate to provide their services as sub-contractors to third party systems integrators, including large telecom equipment vendors, who have been awarded the contracts by these agencies. In such cases, Goldbelt Cedar will act as the prime contractor, with Glow Networks being a sub-contractor responsible for project execution.

"Partnering with Goldbelt Cedar is a crucial step in our growth as it will enable us to service large projects from various government agencies as well as help forge new relationships with some of the top telecom equipment vendors," said Dr. Jay Srinivasan, President of Glow Networks. "Goldbelt Cedar has considerable expertise in providing comprehensive services for Federal Agencies, which we will complement with our own strengths in executing enterprise-related telecommunications services."

Using a catalog for enterprise related telecommunication services developed by Glow Networks, the two companies are now working to get Goldbelt Cedar listed as a vendor under the GSA (General Services Administration) within the next three-to-four months. They will also establish a mentor-protégé program between themselves and with other companies to facilitate smooth functioning of the collaborative effort required for execution of large projects.

"We are extremely pleased with this alliance with Glow Networks, a proven player with the requisite skills and experience in large telecommunication services projects," said Bhima Penta, President & CEO of Goldbelt Cedar. "Combining our respective strengths will undoubtedly enhance the value we provide to our customers and add greater merit to our proposals. We are looking forward to a long and profitable relationship between our companies."

"We are continuously working to expand our capabilities in our domain, as we strive to sustain and exceed the stupendous growth we have enjoyed in the past few years," said Dev Sridharan, CFO of Glow Networks. "Our recent acquisition of Tri-MC to provide a full range of power and grounding engineering, installation and maintenance services to our customers is a case in point. This relationship with Goldbelt Cedar is another strategic initiative designed to propel us forward by not only extending our customer base but also the scale of services we deliver. We are well positioned to consolidate ourselves as a top provider of comprehensive telecommunication services."
