JDavis Architects, PLLC Announces New Director of Sustainable Design
Raleigh, NC, March 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Jeff Davis, president of JDavis Architects, PLLC, has announced that K. Daryl Carrington, AIA, Ph.D., has joined the firm as director of sustainable design. In this position, Carrington will oversee the implementation of sustainable design strategies on a firm-wide basis, as well as manage the firm’s new Philadelphia Studio.
Carrington has over 25 years of experience as an architect and has worked previously with JDavis on a number of projects. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Ph.D in Design from North Carolina State University. He has taught sustainable design architecture at Temple University and is a member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council. A native of Warrensburg, N.Y., he resides in Wyncote, Pa with his wife, Mary Myers and two sons, Jasper and Ian.
