Local IT Training Company Partners with Big Cat Rescue to Support and Promote Their Sanctuary

TechSherpas gives Day Tour passes to students enrolling in their IT and business skills courses.

Tampa, FL, June 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- TechSherpas has partnered with the Big Cat Rescue to help increase education and awareness of the exploitation and abuse of exotic cats. Big Cat Rescue, located in Tampa, Fla., is the largest accredited sanctuary in the world dedicated entirely to abused and abandoned big cats.

For every enrollment in a training course at TechSherpas, the student will receive a voucher for two free tickets to visit the Big Cat Rescue sanctuary. These tickets are valid for the 1.5 hour Day Tour and can be used up to 60 days after they receive them.

As part of the tour, participants will be able to get a close-up view of the cats and learn about their stories, as well as habitats and behaviors.

Because the Big Cat Rescue receives no government funding, it is important for them to partner with local businesses and individuals.

“It is only by working hand in hand with like minded friends such as (TechSherpas) that our organization is able to continue making a positive difference in both the animal as well as human world that we share…,” says Jeff Kremer, Director of Donor Appreciation.

Tickets sales cover only part of the cost of operating the sanctuary. Big Cat Rescue relies on donations to fill the gap. Donations can be made online at BigCatRescue.org or by mail.

TechSherpas will start this promotion on June 13th, and will begin giving the tickets out to students who enroll on or after that date. These tickets will allow participants to learn about exotic cats, and the funding they provide will ensure the cats and their sanctuary continue to prosper.
