New York, NY, July 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The 3rd Annual National Association of Asian MBAs (NAAMBA) Leadership Conference and Exposition is to be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on September 8th - 10th with the theme, “Leadership to New Heights.” This year’s Conference will be especially important as NAAMBA commemorates several key milestones that were achieved during the past year including the launch of its membership, the Twin Cities, MN Regional and Washington D.C. Regional, the NAAMBA Women Leadership Council and the completion of the NAAMBA Leadership World Tour.

The Annual Conference is a three day event which starts with the Conference Kickoff followed by the Leadership Conference and will conclude with the Career Exposition. It will be jammed packed with powerful and progressive sessions on Asian diversity and inclusion best practices, professional development seminars, unparalleled networking sessions and a myriad of top career opportunities. The event will also feature keynote addresses by prominent corporate executives and community leaders. Attendees will also have the chance to network with thousands of present and emerging Asian leaders and company representatives from Fortune 500 corporations such as Aetna, AstraZeneca, Dell, Gilead, IBM, Fisher-Price, General Mills, McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Target, Zurich as well as government agencies such as the National Credit Union Administration and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, just to name a few. Attendance and sponsorship is also set to well exceed last year’s numbers with this year’s event expected to draw 3,000 attendees and 150 sponsoring companies.

The Annual Conference and Exposition offer recruitment opportunities to experienced business professionals as well as MBA candidates. “The primary focus of our Leadership Conference is to bring together corporate recruiters, MBA job candidates and experienced business professionals to embrace the career potential that Asian Americans provide to the workforce,” commented Jino Ahn, the President and Founder of NAAMBA.

This year’s Leadership Conference features several inaugural components such as the first ever NAAMBA Mentoring Breakfast, NAAMBA Women Leadership Summit, NAAMBA Global Case Competition, and the NAAMBA Fashion Show. Other event highlights include the Global Diversity Forum, featuring the Jobs in Asia Pavilion, which helps job seekers find opportunities in the U.S. and Asia. Additionally, the NAAMBA Gala Awards Dinner will celebrate Asian Leadership and Corporate Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion.
