FPA, CFP Board, and U.S. Department of Labor Collaborate to Launch Spanish Retirement Saving Webcast

Miami, FL, June 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Miami-Dade President Elaine King and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards Inc. partnered with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and the National Council of La Raza to host its inaugural Spanish-language 'Guide to Retirement Saving' webcast to assist U.S. workers to plan and conserve for retirement.

Elaine King, CFP(R), and the DOL presented the live June 22 Spanish webcast to enlighten consumers on making retirement planning a personal priority, as well as to convey impactful money management guidance to young adults starting to save now and to individuals closer to retirement.

Emphasizing the importance of setting goals to plan for future financial security in this webcast, Elaine King highlighted financial planning topics addressed in the Savings Fitness Guide, a popular educational publication created by the CFP Board and the DOL.
