Carolina Mudcats Celebrates Independence Day with Jacksonville Suns Series

July 4-7 Home Series Will Include Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza, Kraft Singles Tuesday Ticket Night, Thirsty Thursday and Other Promotions

Zebulon, NC, July 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Carolina Mudcats (http://www.carolinamudcats.com), Wake County’s hometown professional baseball team, has announced the team’s upcoming four-game home series against the Jacksonville Suns starting Monday, July 4 through Thursday, July 7. The games scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday have starting times of 7:15 p.m. The Thursday, July 7 game will begin at noon. Several promotions will take place throughout the upcoming home series, beginning with a special Independence Day celebration.

Gates open promptly at 5:30 p.m. for the Monday, July 4 game. The event will feature the Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza Show to celebrate a great American tradition. Fans can enjoy one of Wake County’s largest fireworks displays, presented by Time Warner Cable, following the conclusion of the game.

Kraft Singles Tuesday Night Tickets is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5. Fans may buy one ticket and get one free from Kraft Singles with purchase. The July 5 game also features Dollar Dog Days, presented by Carolina Packers. Fans can enjoy all-beef hot dogs for just $1 each.

The Wednesday, July 6 game marks the 2 for 1 Wednesday promotion, where fans can buy one box seat ticket and get a second box seat ticket for free. The promotion is presented by Food Lion and is subject to availability. Additionally, the team will celebrate the Summer Reading League.

The game scheduled for the Thursday, July 7 game will feature Thirsty Thursday, presented by Natty Greene’s Brewing Company. Fans may purchase 12-ounce Pepsi products for only $1 and 16-ounce domestic drafts for only $2. The July 7 game will also feature Day at the Ballpark where Muddy and the Mudcats will host all local daycare centers, senior centers, educational centers and summer camps.
