Kaufmann-Rothstein International Continues Global Business Presence with Newly Formed Japan’s Brokerage Team

Kaufmann-Rothstein International, a premier commodity futures brokerage firm, specializing on trading and related brokerage services, announced today the completion of the newly created brokerage team in Japan as part of its mission of global business presence expansion.

Haarlem, Netherlands, July 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The new Japan-based brokerage team also has new trading professionals lead by three Senior Sales Traders such as Oliver Brown, Ryan Gainey and Wilbur Waters. The three will directly report to Lindsay Kornemann, the President and Chief Operation Officer of Kaufmann-Rothstein International.

With 14 years of financial trading experience, 9 years of which were devoted to portfolio diversification, Oliver Brown joined Kaufmann-Rothstein International in 2006 as an even-driven trading analyst. He was responsible in setting up the firm’s event-driven desk in 2008. Prior to joining Kaufmann-Rothstein International, Brown worked as a portfolio manager and at the same time multi-strategy hedge fund provider in one of the local commodity futures firms in Japan. Brown started his professional careers as an Equity analyst in one of the international financial institutions with a local office in Japan. He graduated with his business degree from a renowned European business School in London.

Ryan Gainey joined Kaufmann-Rothstein International in 2001. He started his career as a Forex Emerging Market sales Trader based in Asia. Before joining Kaufmann-Rothstein International, Gainey spent 5 years establishing sales trading operations in UK markets, providing related services to institutions and hedge funds companies in London and New York. Ryan Gainey started his professional career in 1995. He joined UK-based stocks brokerage firm and at the same time worked on the trading floor of London Stock Exchange. Since 1995, Gainey worked as international sales trader, trading the Asian, European, US and UK markets before starting his career in the emerging markets desk in 2003, where he successfully built a sales and business trading focused in South East Asia markets.

Wilbur Waters started his professional career in 1990 as an emerging market sales trader where he was assigned to deal with leading hedge funds particularly in Asian Region markets. With nearly two decades of trading experience, Waters was considered as an exceptional addition to Japan’s brokerage team because of his various trading experiences.
