Author of book on nursing and significant issues with modern medical care in US hospitals launches website to promote book and newest literary venture.

New York, NY, July 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Harriet Forman RN, nursing leadership consultant and author of Nursing Leadership For Patient Centered Care - Authenticity, Presence, Intuition, Expertise has completed her new website, http://harrietsbookshelf.com/, in anticipation of the launch of her next book project, an investigation into the spiritual connections between pets and their humans.

Dr. Forman has dedicated her lifelong career to nursing leadership and nursing administration and to writing, mentoring, and consulting. She helped establish Nursing Spectrum, the well respected nursing journal in the New York Metropolitan area, and worked with the company in Florida and in other locations.

More recently, Dr. Forman has provided independent consulting to health related and other professional organizations regarding healthcare leadership and other pertinent and current issues. In addition to her recently published book, she is the author of many articles and has been a well respected and sought after public speaker. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International - Alpha Omega and Alpha Upsilon Chapters, The New York Citizens Committee for Health Care Decisions (NYCCHD), and the International Women's Writer's Guild (IWWG). She also is a board member and senior consultant for The Center To Promote Healthcare Studies based in Scarsdale, NY.
