Laeken International Appoints New Director to Lead UK-based Trading Offices
Effective August 1, 2011, Laeken International, a top commodity futures and brokerage service provider, will have its trading operation in the region of United Kingdom under new directorship. Mr. Stewart Jackson will be acting as the new Managing Director for the entire UK-based trading offices of Laeken International, replacing the outgoing Mr. Thomas Pabin. Pabin, on the other hand, will be joining the firm’s top trading advisors.
“Stewart has been known for his wide-ranging trading experience both in derivatives and bond markets and has even effectively established new business ventures in the technology space and credit default swaps. Starting August 1, Stewart will be the overall Managing Director of our offices in Canada, Frankfurt, Paris, and London,” said Pacey.
Mr. Stewart Jackson brings Laeken International a reputable track record in commercial technology growth ventures and substantial trading experience in the capital markets. As a former Chief Executive Officer of one of the credit companies in Germany, Jackson managed the business development of a premier voice broker for credit derivatives, concentrating on credit default swaps, structured products and prominent indices. He also worked in a company specializing in providing financial and technological software with focused on internet technology applications.
Mr. Stewart Jackson started his career in the financial service industry, serving an international institution for more than 10 years where his responsibilities escalated from financial manager to Managing Director of Financial Products Group, an internationally recognized cross-asset class derivatives structured business.
