– Movie Stars Step Out in Busselton for Specialist Film Festival During 24 to 28 August 2011 reveals that Busselton will be screening a number of French and Australian film premieres as part of the area’s unique festival specialising in films only from the two countries.

Busselton, Australia, July 08, 2011 --( Cinefest Oz 2011 is not only about the films however as the event mixes French cuisine with Australian dishes to offer something for both foodies and film buffs. The event is likely to see many of the leading actors from the featured films and what gives the festival its unique character is the way the stars interact and mix freely with the audiences.

The French influence to the event comes from a historical moment in the 18th century as a large group of explorers led by a Frenchman landed on Cape Hamelin. The festival aims to re-establish those ties while also promoting new talent emerging in the two industries.

All films shown at the event will have a French/Australian influence whether in the script writing; or from the directors, actors or locations and organisers will be screening entries to make sure there are films suitable for everyone.

Each screening will be held at the Orana Cinema Complex between 24th and 28th August 2011 and due to the number of people attending an available hotel in Busselton will be considerably harder to find.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at commented: “To avoid the disappointment of missing out on certain hotels attendees ideally need to make arrangements months ahead of the scheduled start date.”
