Fantastic Night for GO optimisation at the NMA Awards

Brighton, United Kingdom, July 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The GO optimisation team have been celebrating after a fantastic result at this year’s NMA Awards, which took place on Thursday 23rd June at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

Having been shortlisted as finalists, GO optimisation saw off competition from a number of larger agencies to come ‘runners-up’ in their category with a ‘highly commended’ citation.

GO had entered into the ‘Best Use of Search’ category, using the excellent results they’ve had with their client, Show and Stay, as an example of their effective and innovative approach to optimised search marketing.

Their brief from Show and Stay, a company which provides tickets and hotel accommodation for London theatre breaks, was to increase ticket sales, theatre break bookings and email sign-ups via the company’s website, while reducing cost per conversion by 15%.

They came up with a strategy that recognised customers’ paths to purchase across devices, location, time and multiple searches. Geo-targeting was implemented, allowing us to manage bids based on regional search habits. The judges praised their use of funnels to understand attribution, commenting that it was a "nice touch."

Worthy opponents they triumphed over in their category include marketing heavyweights Steak (recently acquired by Dentsu Inc, the fifth largest marketing communications company in the world), I Spy, MEC, VCCP Search, MediaCom and TribalDDB.
