From Camouflage to Wedding Gowns, Brides Across America and a L’ Amour Bridal Are Honoring Military Brides-to-Be

On July 11 & 12th, A L’Amour Bridal Salon in Barington, and A L’Amour Party in Northbrook, will team up with the national charitable organization Brides Across America by donating couture wedding gowns to military brides.

Barrington, IL, July 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- In celebration of Independence Day, A L’Amour Bridal and A L’Amour Party will honor military brides and say thank you to our troops by giving away gowns designed by Eve of Milady, Watters Bride, Rosa Clara, Judd Waddell, Romona Keveza, Pronovias, and other prominent designers.

On July 11th, the event will take place at A L’Amour Bridal Salon, located at 236 W. Northwest Hwy, Barrington, IL. On July 12th, the event will take place at A L’Amour Party located at 4149 Dundee Road, Northbrook, IL. Brides will be serviced by appointment. Brides are encouraged to call early and secure their appointment, as there is a limited supply.

The gowns to be donated are valued between $500 and $4,000 and range from sizes 4-20.

In order to qualify, brides or their fiancé must be on active duty in the military, either currently deployed or deployed within the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Libya or Japan. Identification and deployment papers must be presented at the event to qualify. A L’Amour Bridal Salon joins bridal salons across the country in this nationwide event to show their support for our troops.

These important events coordinated through Brides Across America make it possible for military brides, who would unlikely otherwise have the opportunity, to wear designer wedding gowns on their big day.
