)-- TechValens a company specialized in mobility solutions is launching a new mobile app called LSD2LatLon Converter, but it won't make its debut in the Apple App Store. Rather it will launch via the Android Market. TechValens COO said, “We targeted iPhone users, but Apple iTune Store approval process makes it too difficult to schedule a launch date.”
"I think we are going to see a lot of people start to ship Android first," said TechValens COO.
These converters work for any land in Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba) subdivided by the Dominion Land Survey (DLS) LSD and ATS system.
LSD to Latitude/Longitude converter app is not the first app TechValens has pushed on the Android platform. TechValens also launched a SMS Speak app which immediately reads out (voice) the SMS when messages arrive and a Bluetooth communication app for Robots ARM for Android.
